This is an all levels yoga class, designed to strengthen body and mind.
This class will strengthen and tone muscle; improve flexibility; maintain bone/joint health; and build stamina.
Postures will be held slightly longer than in our traditional yoga classes, and at times, we may incorporate small hand held weights (optional).
The postures practiced will increase muscle mass and bone density while releasing stress and also providing mental and relaxation benefits.
This class will help improve posture, balance and stability, and create functional strength necessary for everyday activities like bending over, lifting, walking, sitting down and standing up.
If you miss a class, you are welcome to make it up in any of our other classes, as long as space allows. Classes must be made up during the 8 week session. You are welcome to join a class at anytime.
