This is a gentle class consisting of chair yoga and standing postures, designed to improve strength, flexibility and balance; optimize range of motion; promote relaxation; and reduce stress and muscular tension. Harmonized breathwork with mindful movement helps students develop self-awareness without judgment, in order to practice with calm and ease. This class is designed to assist students with or without limitations due to chronic pain, and those unable to be on their knees. Instruction is compassionate and attentive to meet the individual needs of each student.
The entire practice will be done from a chair and standing position – we will not be on the floor.
