In Person Yoga Classes

YOGA FOR BACK HEALTH – 6 week session $75 (includes tax)
Registration is Required. Please call or email me at your earliest convenience to reserve your space.  Class Description below.  CLASSES ARE ONGOING.  YOU MAY JOIN AT ANYTIME, AS LONG AS THE CLASS IS NOT FULL.
  • TUESDAYS 9:30AM – 10:45AM – next session begins June 11th
  • THURSDAYS 10:00AM – 11:15AM – begins May 30th
Consistency is key to feeling the true benefits of a yoga practice. Through many years of teaching, I have found that students progress and feel the benefits of their yoga practice – physically, mentally and emotionally – when they are committed to a regular practice. With that being said, I will no long be offering drop-in classes, but instead will be asking students to commit to a 6 week session.  The cost of each 6 week session is $75.00 ($12 per class) includes tax.
– You may join anytime, as long as space allows.  The cost will be pro-rated.
-Going on vacation or scheduled for work…I am happy to pro-rate the cost of the session if you know what dates you will be missing.  Payment will still be due at the start of the session.
-Make-up policy – If you should miss a class during the session, please email me and I will send you a video recording of a similar class, so that you may practice at home.
YOGA FOR BACK HEALTH 
This class is designed to support spinal health, relieve back/neck pain and sciatica, improve mobility, calm the nervous system and relax the mind.  This class will work the whole body, as we must address the body as a whole in order to achieve balance and overall wellness.  In this class, we will improve flexibility of the hips and shoulders, which will decrease demands on the back and allow the spine to rotate properly; strengthen the muscle groups that support the spine; increase blood flow to the tissues that support the spine, improving the health of the intervertebral discs and muscles along the spine; and improve posture and proper alignment of the vertebrae, reducing undue stress on the back. Modifications will be provided throughout the practice, making this class suitable for students of all levels.

Class Cancellations: Classes may be cancelled due to inclement weather. Announcements will be made on this website, as well as the class schedule http://www.yogasouthington.com/events. We will make every effort to inform students of schedule changes.
